Marshall becomes the club's fifth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Ben Ramsey, Callum Ross, Nic Bollado, and Dan Stephenson.
The young shot-stopper began in the youth set-up at Newcastle United. His first taste of senior football came in a stand-out season for North Shields in the 2021-22 season when Marshall helped The Robins to the Ebac Northern League Division One title and a stellar run to the quarter-finals of the FA Vase.
That season also saw Marshall nominated for the Northern League Young Player of the Year before heading to play in the United States.
Marshall has now returned to the North East and is ready to make an impact. Manager Jon McDonald is delighted to have acquired his services:
"Olly has been in America for three years and before that was at North Shields after being at Newcastle United as a youngster.
"He's trained with us to stay sharp over the last couple of years when he has been home and he is already very close to a few of our squad, so he will fit in seamlessly.
"He's a very good athlete and having been playing and training at a good level in the States, he's ready to make an impact. It's another excellent addition to our squad."
Welcome to Dunston, Olly!
