The 21-year-old began his career at Carlisle United and progressed through their youth system. Bollado then joined Stockport County before joining FC United on loan.
Following his release from Stockport, Bollado joined Morpeth Town in December 2023 and has been a regular in The Highwaymen's frontline since then. After departing Morpeth following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, Bollado becomes Jon McDonald's third signing of the summer and he is delighted to have gained his signature:
"Nic is a player with enormous potential. He's powerful, direct, and has great ability and has been at Morpeth in the Northern Premier League Premier Division since 2023, and has therefore gathered some good experience.
"I've been following his progress for the last few years. We've had some good conversations and we really want to push him this year and bring out the best in him. I'm delighted to see what Nic can deliver this season and I am looking forward to working with him.
"His uncle, Gary Ormston, played for Dunston and actually played in the North Shields team that me and Scotty had ten years ago!"
